The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 24 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will tell Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) he’s delusional.
Also coming up, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will be late to the party. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will alert Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). And Cane will tell Chance someone may kill him.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will tell Cane that Chancellor is not for sale. But Cane will say he hasn’t heard what he’s offering. “Then put your cards on the table,” Victor will reply. Cane will say he’d give him everything for Chancellor. “I’m ready to close the book on Dumas and return to normal life in Genoa City.”
Victor will say no one’s going to trust him, considering the massive lie he’s perpetrated. “Take your riches and get the hell out of town and as far away from Genoa City as possible.” And he’ll repeat Chancellor’s not for sale. Victor will suggest he go after another company, like Jabot. “If you did that, you’d have my support.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki Runs Chancellor And Is Not Giving It Up
In the dining area, party guests will hear voices in the maze. “Would anybody really be joining the party this late?” Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will ask. Lauren, Michael, Chance and Abby will appear. Lauren will ask if they missed anything. “Oh boy, did you ever,” Nikki will reply.
Abby will ask if it’s Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). “Brace yourselves, Aristotle Dumas is Cane Ashby,” Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will inform them. Abby will say she didn’t see that coming and Michael will ask where Cane is. “He’s having a private conversation with Victor,” Nikki will tell them.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will whine that they all deserve to know what’s going on. Abby will say Lily must be reeling and Nikki will say yes, she was completely blindsided. “What do you think Cane wants with the two of you and Chance?” Nikki will ask Lauren and Michael.
Victor will return to the dining area and Nikki will ask how it went. “I’m going to discuss that conversation in private, with people I can trust,” he’ll say, glaring at Michael, as he walks away with Nikki and Nick. Once they’re alone, Victor will tell them Cane wants to trade his vast empire for Chancellor.
Nick will say he’s looked up Dumas’ companies and they’re worth more than Chancellor. But Victor will say it’s up to Nikki. “I run Chancellor, not him, and I won’t give it up – Katherine wouldn’t want me too,” she’ll reply. Victor will say he’s proud of her, it’s the answer he wanted to hear.
Meanwhile, Lily will rant to Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) about Cane leading a double life. “I just need to know how and why he decided to do this?” Devon will ask Lily how she could trust anything Cane would say. He’ll also point out Cane wants to return to Genoa City.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chance Is There Because He’s A Detective
“Don’t you think part of his intention is to reconcile with you?” Devon will add. And if she stays, it’ll encourage Cane. Lily will say she’ll take the night to think it over. Damian will attempt to calm Lily down. He’ll tell her he’s there for her, whatever she needs. Then Cane will be standing there. He’ll tell Devon it’s nice to see him again but Devon won’t feel the same.
Cane will put out his hand to Damian and say it’s nice to finally meet him. But Damian won’t shake it. Then Cane will ask to talk to Lily alone. “It really is wonderful to see you again,” he’ll say. “The feeling is not mutual,” she’ll reply. Lily will tell him Devon and Damian want to leave tomorrow. Cane will say he’s got a lot to say to her, including his plans.
“Now it’s time for you to reveal your mysterious agenda?” she’ll reply. “When you’re ready I’ll tell you everything and how it all involves you,” he’ll say. So, she’ll ask if that’s his plan, to get them back together. “I haven’t given up on us, I can’t,” Cane will reply.
But Lily will tell him he’s delusional. “You were the love of my life Lily, and I was yours,” he’ll say. She’ll tell him she needs sleep and she’ll leave. So, Cane will return to the dining area, to welcome Lauren, Michael, Abby and Chance. Jack will ask Cane why he gathered them all there. “All in good time,” he’ll reply.
Finally, Cane will ask Chance to have a word with him in private. Once they’re alone, he’ll say he invited Chance not because he’s a Chancellor, but because he’s a police detective. “I need your help,” Cane will add. “If I’m not mistaken, by the end of the week, I suspect someone is going to try to kill me.”
